On booking a treatment with LBU Beauty, you must please make us aware or discuss any medical conditions or contraindications at time of your booking. This is very important as certain treatments cannot be performed or may have to be adapted. All new LBU Beauty clients will be required to fill out a client consultation card and undergo a patch test (should this be required for your treatment) at least 24 hours prior to your first appointment.
On the day of your appointment, your therapist will go through a consultation with you, and also ask of any contraindications you may have. If the client is under the age of 18, a parent, or guardian must approve of the appointment by signing a waiver. Please note, that there are certain treatments that you cannot have if you are under the age of 18 as required by law.
Upon booking a course or a treatment your card details will be required by our system 'Fresha' where your appointment slot will be held. Please note that all details and information is held to the highest security - please see the fresha website for more info on this. In some instances, a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £50 will need paid prior to your first appointment. This will be taken off the cost of your treatment and can be paid via cash, PayPal or Bank Transfer.
We require 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment in order for your deposit to be refunded (if you paid one) or your appointment date moved. Cancellation within this time frame is chargeable (50% of the treatment cost).
In the event of a ‘No-show’ or failure to turn up to your appointment the full cost of your treatment will be chargeable and further bookings will not be made until this is paid. If you have a prepaid course of treatments booked and you fail to turn up to the appointment, a treatment will be taken off the course length to compensate. If you have booked a course of treatments or facials and the first treatment has been performed, all courses are nonrefundable and non exchangable.
Please note that due the nature of our services and the costs associated to the business when these are performed all treatments are non-refundable.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months unless otherwise stated. They are non-refundable.
Please have your gift voucher with you for the appointment. The cancellation policy still applies to gift vouchers.

The information we collect
When making a booking with LBU Beauty, we will ask for information such as name, email address, location address, contact number, birth date, medical history, treatment preference, skincare regime and other relevant information which is related to your treatment.
What we may do with the information
All the information collected is necessary to process your booking but also to allow us to be able to provide you with the best service and advice. We may contact you with promotions or special offers of which we think you may find interesting using the email address provided at time of booking.
Safety and Security of your Information
LBU Beauty will not pass any information to any third parties.
We follow a tight security procedure as required under UK Data Protection Legislation (the Data Protection Act 1998) to protect the information that we store about you from you and store only data that is necessary.
